Part of how we do this is maintaining policies and procedures that guide the academic and non-academic conduct and behaviour of students, along with all community members at BCIT.<\/p>\n<div class=\"two-column\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<h3><a href=\"\/student-conduct\/academic-integrity\/\">Academic Integrity<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Provides guidance to students and staff on ethical conduct in all areas of academic work, research and scholarship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"column\">\n<h3><a href=\"\/student-conduct\/student-code-of-conduct-non-academic\/\">Student Code of Conduct (non-academic)<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Provides guidance to students for general behaviour at BCIT and BCIT-related in-person and online spaces.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>BCIT community members, including staff and students, are expected to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engage respectfully with others within the learning environment<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate responsibility for behavioural choices and actions<\/li>\n<li>Follow BCIT policies, procedures, organizational rules, and standards of ethical behaviour.
