With programs of varying lengths, BCIT Student Housing offers rent rates per-night throughout the year.
- Long Stay rates apply for stays of 12 weeks and above.
- Short Stay rates apply for stays under under 12 weeks.
BCIT offers a variety of convenient payment options for student housing fees.

Please note:
- Stays of fewer than 30 nights are subject to 5% GST on the full amount.
- The minimum stay is 5 nights.
- Short‑stay residents must check in on the Sunday (or holiday Monday) before their program begins.
- Check‑out is required by 12:00 pm (noon) on the Friday your program ends.
- Late check‑outs and extensions are not permitted.
Parking Daily Fee
Applications for parking as a resident will be available through the Housing Portal only after accepting a Housing Offer. Residents may be assigned a stall in Lot H, or may be assigned general BCIT Student Parking in any of the Burnaby Campus Student Lots.

GST applies to parking under 31 days.
Lost Keys
Residents are responsible for all issued keys and access cards. Lost keys or access cards are subject to a replacement fee of $25 per key or card. If multiple keys are issued (for example, a bedroom key and a suite key), the replacement fee applies per individual key.
